Rascal Flatts has heads bobbing all summer
The country-pop trio will resume its outing May 3 at Indio, CA's Stagecoach Country Music Festival and then segue into its "Bob That Head Tour" with Taylor Swift. The itinerary, shown below, so far includes a handful of performances each month through September.
Earlier this week, Rascal Flatts picked up its sixth consecutive CMT Group of the Year video award for "Take Me There," the lead single from the band's September release, "Still Feels Good." The platinum-selling album has also spawned the hit "Winner at a Losing Game" and current single "Every Day," which is in the Top 10 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart. All three tunes are streaming at Rascal Flatts' MySpace page.
The video for "Every Day" premiered yesterday (4/16) at Yahoo.com and makes its television debut today (4/17). It includes live performance footage alongside vignettes of everyday people performing simple acts of kindness.
"Sill Feels Good," Rascal Flatts' fifth studio set, marks the band's third consecutive album to debut at No. 1, and follows "Me and My Gang," which was the biggest sales debut of 2006.
In the eight years since the release of its debut, Rascal Flatts has sold more than 17 million albums and scored nine No. 1 singles, according to a posting at its website. Next month, the trio will be vying for its sixth consecutive Vocal Group of the Year award from the Academy of Country Music.
