Dierks Bentley adds dates before 'Mile' run

Country star Dierks Bentley [ tickets ] has added a handful of new shows to the spring portion of his ongoing trek as he gets ready to drop a new greatest-hits collection on fans.

The singer faces the busiest stretch of his current schedule this month and next, with 20 cities on the calendar through the end of May. Bentley has more than 40 shows set through summer, with additions to the outing arriving on a regular basis. All of the singer's currently scheduled shows are included below.

Bentley let his fans decide the title, track sequencing and cover art for his forthcoming "Greatest Hits: Every Mile A Memory 2003-2008," which is due in stores May 6. The performer unveiled the results of online voting April 1 during a "town hall meeting" on his website.

The collection features most of Bentley's Top 10 singles, as well as live versions of several of his hits and two new cuts, "With the Band" and "Sweet Wild," the latter featuring guest vocals from country singer/songwriter Sarah Buxton.

In the meantime, Bentley continues to support 2006's "Long Trip Alone," his third studio album.
