George Strait 's new set, "Troubadour," sold 166,000 copies during its debut week in stores, giving him the fourth No. 1 album of his career.

R.E.M. 's "Accelerate" enters The Billboard 200 album chart at No. 2 on sales of 115,000, while the multi-artist "NOW 27" hits compilation climbs two notches to No. 3 on sales of 60,000. Billboard bases its flagship album chart on Nielsen SoundScan retail reports.

Day26 's self-titled album, which was last week's No. 1 entry, slips to No. 4 this week on sales of 51,000. The "Alvin and the Chipmunks" soundtrack (the film was released on DVD on April 1) jumps from No. 16 to No. 5, also on sales of 51,000, according to Billboard.

Rounding out the Top 10 are Trina 's "Still Da Baddest," Danity Kane 's "Welcome to the Dollhouse," Counting Crows ' "Saturday Nights & Sunday Morning," Rick Ross ' "Trilla" and Van Morrison 's "Keep it Simple."
