Danity Kane's 'Dollhouse' debuts at No. 1
Danity Kane 's sophomore set, "Welcome to the Dollhouse," sold 236,000 copies during its first week in stores, more than enough to give the group--the product of the MTV series "Making the Band 3"--its second No. 1 album.
Holding steady at No. 2 this week on The Billboard 200 chart is the "NOW 27" hits compilation, which sold 170,000 copies over the last week, according to Billboard, which bases its flagship album chart on Nielsen SoundScan retail reports.
Rick Ross ' "Trilla," last week's No. 1 album, falls to No. 3 on sales of 90,000 during its second week in stores. Flo Rida 's debut album, "Mail on Sunday," enters the chart at No. 4 on sales of 86,000. Jack Johnson 's "Sleep Through the Static" falls one rung to No. 5 on sales of 67,000.
Rounding out the Top 10 are Miley Cyrus ' "Hannah Montana 2 (Soundtrack)/Meet Miley Cyrus" at No. 6 and her "The Best of Both Worlds Concert" at No. 10; Snoop Dogg 's "Ego Trippin'" at No. 7; Taylor Swift 's self-titled debut at No. 8; and Sara Bareilles ' "Little Voice" at No. 9.
