Jonas Brothers burn up the road this summer
The summer jaunt, dubbed "The Burning Up Tour," will see the tween sensations headlining amphitheaters for the first time. It is scheduled to kick off July 4 in Toronto and then visit more than 35 US cities from coast to coast through late August. Details are listed below.
Those who join the newly launched Jonas Brothers fan club will have access to concert tickets beginning next Tuesday (3/25); further information is available at the Team Jonas website. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning March 29.
Following a lengthy run on the Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana "Best of Both Worlds Tour," the Jonas Brothers hit the road for a headlining trek in January and have played to sold-out audiences in every city, according to a press release.
"We've had an awesome time touring and having an opportunity to see so many of our fans," the siblings said in a joint statement. "Every time we play, we learn so much and grow both as artists and a band. We really can't wait to get back on the road this summer."
The Jonas Brothers--20-year-old Kevin, 18-year-old Joe, and 15-year-old Nick--have been supporting their self-titled sophomore set, which debuted at No. 5 on The Billboard 200 in August and has since gone platinum. Their latest single, "When You Look Me in the Eyes," is making a steady climb at Top 40 radio and is streaming at the group's MySpace page.
The Jonas Brothers have already finished their next album, which is scheduled for an August release. As with their current set, the guys co-wrote all the new material and handed production duties over to John Fields.
