R.E.M., The Cure lead Sasquatch! roster

R.E.M., The Cure , The Flaming Lips , Death Cab for Cutie , Modest Mouse , The Hives and a slew of other acts have signed on for this spring's Sasquatch! Music Festival in Washington.

Set to take place May 24-26 at the Gorge Amphitheater in Quincy, WA, the event will also include performances from M.I.A., Flight of the Conchords, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Michael Franti & Spearhead, The Breeders, Built to Spill, Ozomatli, The Kooks, Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks, and Tegan & Sara, according to organizers. The compete roster of acts is included below.

R.E.M.'s Sasquatch! appearance is the second performance the group has booked in advance of the late-May launch of a headlining tour behind its forthcoming April 1 release, "Accelerate," also has a March 12 set scheduled at the annual South by Southwest Music Festival in Austin, TX.

Tickets will hit the box office March 8, and price increases will take place on March 10 and again the week of the event. Additional information is available at the festival's website.

The forthcoming event--which will also include a comedy tent--has been certified carbon neutral by Sustainable Energy Partners.
