The next round of dates has been announced for Elton John [ tickets ]'s "Red Piano" residency in Las Vegas.

The superstar, who is currently in New Zealand and has shows in Australia, South Africa and Spain through next month, will be back at Sin City's Colosseum at Caesars Palace beginning March 19. He'll stick around through early April and then be back for most of June, after which he'll launch a European tour.

John has also booked an April 11 concert in Missoula, MT. His full North American itinerary is listed below. Overseas dates can be found at his website.

Last year, the Grammy-winning singer signed an agreement to keep his "Red Piano" show at The Colosseum through next year. He's put in about 50 performances per year at the venue since 2004.

"The Red Piano" was created by John and photographer David LaChapelle to spotlight the singer's body of work with his longtime collaborator, Bernie Taupin.

Last year, John and Taupin teamed once again for the album "The Captain & The Kid," which is billed as a sequel to 1975's "Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy."

March saw the release of "Rocket Man - Number Ones," which comprises 18 hits covering the first 35 years of John's career. The album accompanied the performer's 60th birthday celebration, which he marked with a record-breaking 60th performance at New York City's Madison Square Garden.

That show is captured on the two-disc DVD set "Elton John [ tickets ] 60: Live at Madison Square Garden," which also includes rare and previously unseen performances and a 36-page booklet of photographs.
