Josh Groban's 'Noel' climbs to No. 1

Josh Groban 's holiday album "Noel" moves up one notch to No. 1 on the latest Billboard 200 album chart after selling 405,000 copies during its most recent week in stores.

Groban's surprise appearance last week on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" is credited for the album's ascension to the top spot after seven weeks on the chart.

Alicia Keys ' "As I Am," last week's No. 1 album, falls to No. 2 this week on sales of 349,000, according to Billboard, which bases its chart on Nielsen SouncScan retail reports.

The hits compilation "NOW 26" moves up one spot to No. 3 on sales of 234,000, while Garth Brooks ' "The Ultimate Hits" climbs one rung to No. 4 on sales of 192,000. The Eagles ' "Long Road Out of Eden" moves from No. 6 to No. 5 on sales of 184,000 during its latest week in stores.

Rounding out the Top 10 are the "High School Musical 2" soundtrack, Carrie Underwood 's "Carnival Ride," Celine Dion 's "Taking Chances," Chris Brown 's "Exclusive" and Jordin Sparks ' self-titled debut.
