More dates creep into Bruce Springsteen tour
Spring 2008 dates for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are slowly trickling in.
After selling out St. Paul, MN's Xcel Energy Center earlier this month, The Boss and company announced they would return to the venue in March. The second leg of the band's North American tour has since grown to include gigs in Buffalo, NY; Anaheim, CA; and Atlanta. Details are listed below.
The initial run of shows continues tomorrow (11/14) in Pittsburgh, PA, and rolls through Albany, NY, before wrapping Nov. 18-19 in Boston. The rockers will then begin a nearly four-week trek through Europe. Overseas shows can be found at Springsteen's website.
The highly successful tour, which launched Oct. 2, marks Springsteen and the E Street Band's first run through North America and Europe in four years. A host of sold-out shows prompted the group to add second nights in many cities along the way.
The band is supporting its new album, "Magic," which shot to No. 1 on The Billboard 200 when it surfaced last month and then reclaimed the top spot three weeks later. The lead single, "Radio Nowhere," is streaming at Springsteen's MySpace page.
"Magic" is Springsteen's first new studio recording with the E Street Band since 2002's Grammy-winning, multi-platinum set "The Rising." Both albums were produced by Brendan O'Brien.
