Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts top Stagecoach bill

Organizers of next spring's 2008 Stagecoach Country Music Festival in Indio, CA, have unveiled a superstar-heavy lineup led by Tim McGraw and Rascal Flatts .

The two-day festival, spread out across May 3-4, returns for its second year, again the a week after the annual Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, and using the same venue. Last year, more than 55,000 fans turned out for the inaugural Stagecoach event, promoters said.

Other big names among the more than 40 acts announced by organizers include Carrie Underwood , Big & Rich , George Jones , Gretchen Wilson , Dwight Yoakam , Dierks Bentley and, in an exclusive, one-night-only appearance, The Judds . The event will feature four stages, with headlining acts playing the so-called Mane Stage while other performers are concurrently playing on the Palomino, Appaloosa and Mustang stages.

Tickets for the event go on sale Nov. 16 through Ticketmaster (both charge-by-phone and online), with admission starting at $175 for a two-day non-camping pass. (Ticketmaster is LiveDaily's parent company.)

The 2008 event will also expand its areas for tent and RV camping, and provide concert-goers a long list of extra-musical activities, including a play area for children; the Stagecoach Invitational BBQ Contest; a live auction; interactive art displays; mechanical bull rides and hayrides, and many other attractions.
