Creed Postpones Concerts

Rock band Creed announced on Tuesday (6/13) that it was postponing its Tuesday night appearance at the Memorial Coliseum in Portland, Ore., until Tuesday, June 20, due to lead singer Scott Stapp's bout with laryngitis and a bacterial infection. The announcement comes one day after the band postponed its Monday night (6/12) Seattle appearance until Wednesday, June 21.

According to a statement issued by the band, tickets for both of the previously scheduled dates will be honored at the rescheduled shows. Refunds will also be issued for ticketholders who would rather get their money back.

The band had to cancel its Saturday night (6/10) performance in Vancouver, when Stapp reportedly lost his voice shortly before taking the stage. Opening acts Sevendust and Nickelback had already performed. That show will not be rescheduled, and ticket refunds are being issued.

Creed's Thursday (6/15) concert in San Jose, Calif. is expected to take place as scheduled, according to the band's statement.
