Paul McCartney spans the decades with new DVD set
"The McCartney Years," due to hit stores Nov. 13, will feature exclusive commentary, behind-the-scenes footage, more than 40 music videos and two hours of live performances, according to a press release.
The three-volume DVD collection spans four decades of music videos, starting in the 1970s with McCartney's first solo single, "Maybe I'm Amazed," and finishing with 2005's "Fine Line." Performance footage is taken from three classic McCartney concerts: "Rockshow" filmed during Wings' 1976 world tour, new edits of the singer's 1991 MTV Unplugged performance, and his headlining gig at 2004's Glastonbury Festival.
McCartney has recorded exclusive commentary and personal introductions for each promo video and live concert.
The material included in the set has been restored and will be presented in Widescreen format with the original recordings re-mixed into 5.1 surround sound.
McCartney released his latest studio album, "Memory Almost Full," in June. The set, which marked the first release on the Starbucks-owned Hear Music label, sold 90,000 copies in its first week, scoring the No. 3 slot on The Billboard 200.
