'High School Musical 2' soundtrack dominates album chart

With 615,000 copies sold in the US during its first week in stores, Disney's "High School Musical Soundtrack" debuts atop the latest Billboard 200 album chart.

The expected strong showing by the made-for-TV movie's soundtrack is followed on this week's chart by another Disney album, Miley Cyrus ' "Hannah Montana 2 (Soundtrack)/Meet Miley Cyrus," which sold 83,000 copies and jumps two slots to No. 2.

Entering the chart at No. 3 is Dave Mathews and Tim Reynolds' "Live at Radio City," which moved 70,000 copies, according to Billboard, which bases its list on Nielsen SoundScan retail reports.

Slipping one notch to No. 4 is the "NOW 25" hits compilation, which sold 66,000 copies, while the "Hairspray" soundtrack moves up one rung to No. 5 on sales of 63,000.

Rounding out the Top 10 are UGK 's "Underground Kingz," Fergie 's "The Dutchess," The Jonas Brothers' self-titled debut, Plies ' "Slip-N-Slide" and Common 's "Finding Forever."
