UGK returns to claim No. 1 album spot
Hip-hop purveyors UGK top this week's US album chart with their new set, "Underground Kings," the duo's first release in five years.
The album sold 160,000 during its first week in stores, easily outdistancing fellow rapper Plies' "Real Testament," which moved 90,000 copies and claims the No. 2 slot, according to Billboard.
The "NOW 25" hits compilation holds steady in the No. 3 position on sales of 86,000 copies, while Miley Cyrus' "Hannah Montana 2 (Soundtrack)/Meet Miley Cyrus" climbs one rung to No. 4 on sales of 75,000.
The Jonas Brothers' self-titled second album debuts in the No. 5 slot on The Billboard 200 chart on sales of 69,000 copies. Billboard bases its album chart on Nielsen SoundScan retail reports.
Rounding out the Top 10 are the "Hairspray" soundtrack, Common's "Finding Forever," Fergie's "The Dutchess," T.I.'s "T.I. vs. T.I.P.," and Korn's "Untitled."
