Jennifer Lopez to drop 'Brave' new album
Jennifer Lopez will release her sixth studio album this fall while she's on the road with her husband, Marc Anthony .
The forthcoming set, "Brave," is scheduled to drop Oct. 9. The record's lead single, "Do It Well," is already making waves at radio and can be heard at J-Lo's website.
"Brave" will be Lopez's second release this year. In March, she put out her first all-Spanish album, "Como Ama Una Mujer," which shot to No. 1 on Billboard's Latin Album chart and debuted at No. 10 on The Billboard 200. It's the highest-selling Spanish debut ever, according to a press release.
Meanwhile, tickets went on sale last weekend for the 14-city "Jennifer & Marc En Concierto" outing, which is set to launch Sept. 29 in Atlantic City and visit US arenas from coast to coast as well as Toronto. Within 15-minutes of the Aug. 11 on-sale, a second show was added at New York City's Madison Square Garden "due to overwhelming response," according to a press release. Dates are listed below.
On tour, Lopez and Anthony plan to perform separate sets of their own material and then appear together for a third set. Each will sing songs in both English and Spanish.
A dollar from each ticket sold will benefit Run for Something Better, a childhood fitness program created by the tour's sponsor, global financial services company ING.
In addition to prepping for their first tour together, the star couple has been busy promoting their recently released film, "El Cantante," in which Anthony stars as the tragic salsa legend Hector Lavoe and Lopez co-stars as his manager/wife.
