Mute Math maps out long road trip
Self-described "electro-rock" outfit Mute Math will launch its most extensive headlining tour ever this fall with a jaunt through the US and Canada that covers more than two months.
The New Orleans-based quartet kicks things off Sept. 4 in Boston, the first of almost 50 stops on the massive outing, which then winds its way north as the band ticks off dates on the Canadian portion of its itinerary. The group's full schedule is included below.
Mute Math continues to back its self-titled debut album, which was released in September of last year. The full-length release followed a 2004 EP, "Reset," which represented the band's recording debut.
The video for "Typical," a single off the debut that peaked at No. 39 on Billboard's Modern Rock chart, is currently streaming at the group's website.
Mute Math recently contributed an electronic remake of the original "Transformers" theme song to the soundtrack to the box-office smash "Transformers" movie.
