Blues singer/guitarist Susan Tedeschi [ tickets ] has lined up a handful of US shows around the East and Midwest through mid-November.

She'll roll out the tour July 20 at the Sioux Falls, SD, Jazz & Blues Fest. Other festival dates on the trek include Rochester, NY's Big City Summer Fest; Highland Park, IL's Ravinia Festival; and Charlestown, RI's Rhythm & Roots Festival. Shows are listed below.

Tedeschi will also team with her husband, guitarist Derek Trucks [ tickets ], for another date on what they call the "Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi Soul Stew Revival." That gig is scheduled Sept. 3 at Colorado's Jazz Aspen Snowmass.

Last month, Tedeschi and Trucks went out on their first tour together. The couple, married since 2001, had appeared on each other's albums but had never shared the stage before.

Tedeschi continues to support her fourth album, 2005's "Hope and Desire," which earned the performer her fourth Grammy nomination--this time in the Best Contemporary Blues Album category. The set is a departure for the songwriter/guitarist, who decided to sing covers of obscure soul tunes on the album and hand over axe duties to young guitar hero Doyle Bramhall II [ tickets ] and Trucks, who fronts his own band and plays lead guitar for The Allman Brothers Band [ tickets ].

Tedeschi was thrust into the spotlight with her 1998 breakthrough album, "Just Won't Burn." The independent record broke into The Billboard 200 and scored the musician a Best New Artist Grammy nomination alongside such unlikely company as Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Macy Gray and Kid Rock.

Her next release, 2002's "Wait For Me," earned Tedeschi two more Grammy nods.
