Maroon 5 tops chart with 'It Won't Be Soon'

Maroon 5 's "It Won't Be Soon Before Long" is the top-selling album in the US, with 429,000 copies sold during the set's debut week in stores.

Last week's No. 1 album, Linkin Park 's "Minutes to Midnight," slips to No. 2 on The Billboard 200 album chart on sales of 138,000. Ozzy Osbourne 's "Black Rain" moved 152,000 copies to debut at No. 3, according to Billboard, which bases its chart on Nielsen SoundScan retail reports.

"Cold Summer," by the Young Jeezy-led trio U.S.D.A., enters the chart at No. 4 on sales of 95,000. The Used 's "Lies for the Liars" enters the chart at No. 5 with sales of 92,000.

Rounding out the Top 10 are Daughtry's self-titled debut, Michael Buble's "Call Me Irresponsible," Carrie Underwood's "Some Hearts," Avril Lavigne's "The Best Damn Thing" and Ne-Yo's "Because of You."
