With a new EP dubbed "Satellite" in stores now, environmentally friendly alt-rockers Guster [ tickets ] will hit the road this summer for a mix of headlining and festival dates.

The band, which just finished up its second annual Campus Consciousness Tour--a run that hit college campuses around the country to spread the word on environmental issues--will play a mixed bag of shows this summer, kicking off July 6 in Interlochen, MI, and then opening for the Dave Matthews Band two nights later in Bridgeview, IL. Singer/songwriter Ben Kweller will open most of the dates, with Pete Yorn opening the band's July 31 show in Vienna, VA.

Prior to the mostly headlining tour, Guster will make a pair of festival appearances in May and June, both of which are detailed in the full itinerary listed below.

The band will also play a few dates in England this summer at a trio of London area clubs. Full details are posted at the group's website.

Released April 10, "Satellite" is an 8-song EP consisting of live cuts and new songs recorded following the band's most recent full-length album, last year's "Ganging Up on the Sun," including the song "G Major," which is currently streaming at the group's MySpace page.
