Briefly: U2, Sammy Hagar, Blues Traveler, Michael Franti

U2 has announced plans to release a DVD version of "PopMart Live from Mexico City," footage for which was shot during the band's 1997 PopMart tour.

Originally released in VHS form in 1998, the video--due out June 26--captures the band's December 1997 performance at the Foro Sol Autodromo. The film was transferred to digital format with "upgraded pictures and remastered audio, mixed in 5.1 Surround Sound," according to U2's website.

The set will be available as a single disc, as well as in a limited-edition two-disc version, the second disc of which will feature unreleased live audio and video material. Additional details, including the set's full tracklisting, are posted at U2's website.
