'NOW 24' compilation stays put at No. 1

The 24th edition of the "NOW That's What I Call Music!" hits-compilation series holds on to the top slot on the US album chart this week, despite selling only 89,000 copies during its most recent week in stores.

With 66,000 copies sold, Tim McGraw 's "Let it Go" keeps its claim to the No. 2 slot on The Billboard 200 chart for the second consecutive week. Akon 's "Konvicted" leaps from No. 9 to No. 3 with 60,000 sold--a 20% drop-off in sales from a week ago.

Bright Eyes ' "Cassadaga" enters the chart at No. 4 with 58,000 sold, and Timbaland 's "Timbaland Presents Shock Value" stays put at No. 5, also with sales of about 58,000, according to Billboard, which bases its charts on Nielsen SoundScan retail-sales data.

Filling out the rest of the Top 10 are Daughtry 's self-titled debut, Beyonce's "B'Day," Martina McBride's "Waking Up Laughing," HellYeah's self-titled debut and Alison Krauss' "A Hundred Miles or More: A Collection."
