Gary Allan returns to No. 1 country slot, makes tour plans

Country crooner Gary Allan will hit the road in April, backing his first career-spanning compilation, "Greatest Hits," which hit stores this month.

The 15-track retrospective--which contains two brand new songs, including Allan's current single, "A Feelin' Like That"--debuted at No. 1 this week on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart, giving the singer back-to-back No. 1 albums following his 2005 hit, "Tough All Over."

Allan will launch his spring/summer tour April 6 in San Francisco, with an initial slate of 14 dates running through mid-July. More tour dates are expected to be unveiled soon, according to Allan's record label. Details are included below.

"A Feelin' Like That," along with several other tunes from Allan's "Greatest Hits," are streaming at the singer's MySpace site.
