Three days after a widely reported night on the town that included a stop to shave her own head, pop singer Britney Spears [ tickets ] reportedly has entered a rehabilitation center in Los Angeles.

TMZ.com first reported Spears' foray into rehab at an undisclosed facility, and People.com--citing Spears' manager, Larry Rudolph--confirmed it.

"We ask that the media respect her privacy and as well as those [privacy concerns] of her family and friends at this time," Rudolph told People.

Spears, 25, made international news on Friday (2/16) when she shaved her head and got two new tattoos. Later in the weekend, she was spotted club-hopping while wearing a blonde wig.

She reportedly checked herself into Eric Clapton's Crossroads Centre in Antigua last week, but checked out after just one day.

Spears has been a fixture in the tabloids since filing for a divorce from Kevin Federline in November, and has been regularly spotted and photographed enjoying her new bachelorette status at a plethora of nightspots. On New Year's Eve, the singer collapsed during an appearance at an event in Las Vegas. Her camp claimed the incident was due to exhaustion.
