Britney Spears [ tickets ], who in recent months has made headlines for what many have deemed a hard-partying lifestyle, reportedly checked into rehab this week, but left less than 24 hours later.

According to a People.com report published today (2/16), Spears, 25, checked herself into Eric Clapton's Crossroads Centre in Antigua a few days ago, but spent just one day at the facility before departing for Florida.

Spears has been a fixture in the tabloids since filing for a divorce from Kevin Federline in November, and has been regularly spotted and photographed enjoying her new bachelorette status at a plethora of nightspots. On New Year's Eve, the singer collapsed during an appearance at an event in Las Vegas. Her camp claimed the incident was due to exhaustion.

Elvis Costello, Sheryl Crow, Emmylou Harris, Kris Kristofferson, Patty Loveless, Loretta Lynn, Willie Nelson, Brad Paisley and Billy Bob Thornton are among the artists who will appear on "Anchored in Love: A Tribute to June Carter Cash [ tickets ]." Produced by John Carter Cash--the only child of late country legend Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash--produced the set, which features the all-star cast performing songs "written by or associated with the beloved singer," according to a press release.

The album, as well as a new book titled "Anchored in Love: An Intimate Portrait of June Carter Cash," is due in stores June 19.

Dolores O'Riordan [ tickets ], best known for fronting Irish alt-rockers The Cranberries, is poised to release her first solo album, "Are You Listening?," on May 15, according to Sanctuary Records Group.

O'Riordan has been out of the spotlight since The Cranberries went on indefinite hiatus a few years ago, and has since focused on starting a family with her husband; she is now a mother of three.

New West Records has pressed a new 7-inch vinyl release that features actor Samuel L. Jackson [ tickets ] performing "the oral tradition toast, 'Stackolee,' and Blind Lemmon Jefferson's 'Black Snake Moan,'" according to a press release. The record is a tie-in with the forthcoming feature film "Black Snake Moan," which stars Jackson, Christina Ricci and Justin Timberlake. The flick is due out March 2.
