Fall Out Boy tops US album chart

Thanks to first-week sales of 260,000 copies for their latest set, "Infinity on High," pop-rockers Fall Out Boy have scored their first No. 1 album in the US.

Fall Out Boy's showing pushed Norah Jones ' "Not to Late," which sold 236,000 copies during its second week in stores, out of the No. 1 slot. Daughtry 's self-titled debut sold 76,000 copies last week, enough to stay put at No. 3 on The Billboard 200 chart, which is based on Nielsen SoundScan retail reports.

Akon 's "Konvicted" rises two notches to No. 4 on sales of 65,000, while Ashley Tisdale 's "Headstrong" sold 64,000 copies to debut at No. 5, according to Billboard.

Rounding out the Top 10 are Robin Thicke's "The Evolution of Robin Thicke," the "2007 Grammy Nominees" compilation, Jason Michael Carroll's "Waitin' in the Country," Corinne Bailey Rae's self-titled debut and Justin Timberlake's "FutureSex/LoveSounds."
