Dave Matthews Band Further Expands Summer Tour
update: Dave Matthews Band has announced summer tour stops in five additional cities via its official website, and has also tapped Taj Mahal & the Phantom Blues Band and Vertical Horizon as opening acts on some dates.
The just-announced dates are: Aug. 23 in Hershey, Pa., Sept. 12-13 in The Woodlands, Texas, Sept. 15-16 in Dallas, Sept. 18-19 in St. Louis, and Sept. 20 in Bonner Springs, Kan. Tickets for the shows at The Woodlands go on sale June 10, and all other dates are scheduled to go on sale June 3.
Taj Mahal and the Phantom Blues Band will open Aug. 29 through Sept. 2, and Vertical Horizon will be on the bill from Sept. 4 to Sept. 10.
Previously announced openers include Me'Shell Ndegeocello (June 19 through June 23), Guster (June 24 through June 27) and Medeski Martin & Wood (July 28 through Aug 2). For stadium shows from June 29 to July 25, Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals will be the middle act and Ozomotli will open.
