Clap Your Hands Say Yeah lays down 'Thunder' road

Brooklyn indie rockers Clap Your Hands Say Yeah will do some roadwork in April behind their new studio release, "Some Loud Thunder," which hit stores Jan. 30.

The band, which is currently gearing up for a brief run of European dates (the full itinerary for which is posted at the group's website), will kick off its domestic headlining run April 10 in Providence, RI.

Presales for all of the 16 dates begin Monday (1/5) and run through Thursday (1/8); details are available at the band's website. The full itinerary is listed below.

"Some Loud Thunder" follows the group's self-titled 2005 debut. A pair of songs from the new set, "Love Song No. 7" and "Underwater (You and Me)," are available as free mp3 downloads from the group's site.
