Pretty Ricky basks in No. 1 debut
Hip-hop purveyors Pretty Ricky claim the No. 1 spot on the latest Billboard 200 album chart thanks to first-week sales of 132,000 copies of their new set, "Late Night Special."
Indie-popsters The Shins debut at No. 2 with "Wincing the Night Away," which moved 118,000, according to Billboard. Billboard bases its album chart on Nielsen SoundScan retail reports.
Daughtry 's self-titled debut slips from No. 1 to No. 3 on sales of 80,000 during the latest week, while the compilation album "2007 Grammy Nominees" debuts at No. 4 with 77,000 sold. John Mellencamp 's "Freedom's Road" sold 56,000 during its debut week, and lands in the No. 5 slot.
Rounding out the Top 10 are the "Dreamgirls" soundtrack, Akon 's "Konvicted," Robin Thicke's "The Evolution of Robin Thicke," the "Jump In" soundtrack and Justin Timberlake's "FutureSex/LoveSounds."
