Stevie Nicks announces a few dates

A handful of dates have trickled in for Stevie Nicks , who will warm up for those shows with a Feb. 4 Super Bowl pre-game performance in South Florida that will air on CBS-TV.

Nicks will follow that up with two more Florida gigs and a four-night stand at Las Vegas' Caesars Palace in March. Tickets for the Vegas shows go on sale tomorrow (1/19) via Ticketmaster. The itinerary is listed below. (Ticketmaster is LiveDaily's parent company.)

Meanwhile, Nicks is planning to release a greatest-hits album this spring, according to a spokesperson.

It's been a while since the mystical singer set out on a full-scale US outing. She toured Australia and New Zealand last year and tagged along on several dates with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

Her most recent solo album is 2001's "Trouble in Shangri-La" and her latest with Fleetwood Mac is 2003's "Say You Will," which the group followed with an extensive world tour and two DVD releases.

Lately, Nicks has been spending her time with the Soldier's Angel Foundation, which she started last year to help lift the spirits of wounded US soldiers. The organization provides iPods to service personnel who have been maimed or wounded in battle. The singer recently told a reporter that she fills the iPods with her favorite songs and then delivers them to the soldiers.
