Beyonce and the Dixie Chicks top an initial list of performers for the 49th annual Grammy Awards show, which will air live Feb. 11 from Los Angeles on CBS-TV.

Gnarls Barkley and The Red Hot Chili Peppers will also perform live during the broadcast, the Recording Academy announced Thursday (1/11). All four performers are nominated for multiple awards during the ceremony.

The Recording Academy also announced an initial list of awards presenters, tapping actors Samuel L. Jackson and Terrence Howard, along with R&B singers Pink and Rihanna, to hand out hardware during the ceremony.
