Country Thunder rolls in with initial lineups

Country stars including Reba McEntire , George Strait , Kenny Chesney , Big & Rich and Gretchen Wilson have been announced in the initial lineups for the massive Country Thunder festivals that will roll through Florence, AZ; Ennis, TX; and Twin Lakes, WI, starting this spring.

The four-day, outdoor music and camping events feature a slew of acts on main and secondary stages.

Florence, AZ, will host Country Thunder April 12-15 with a lineup that so far includes McEntire, Wilson, Big & Rich, Trace Adkins, Montgomery Gentry and others on the main stage. Cross Canadian Ragweed, Harry Luge and Cowboy Crush also have spots on the main stage, as well as the Graham Central Station Saloon, a separate stage sponsored by a nightclub chain.

The May 24-27 Texas event will also see McEntire, Wilson, Big & Rich and Cross Canadian Ragweed on the main stage, as well as Strait, Neal McCoy, Phil Vassar, Lorrie Morgan and others. Luge, Chris Young and Kevin Fowler are scheduled for the Graham Central Station Saloon, with many more artists to be announced.

Twin Lakes, WI, will get its Country Thunder July 18-22 with McEntire, Chesney, Adkins, McCoy, Montgomery Gentry, Sugarland, Pat Green and Keith Anderson among the main-stage acts. The Graham Central Station Saloon so far has Luge and Young on the bill, and a third stage, Jack Daniel's Saloon, will host Michael Scott and Chasin' Mason.

Country Thunder tickets, which are on sale now, cost $109-$169 for a four-day general admission pass, $129-$149 for reserved lawn seats, $200 for reserved seats, and $400-$500 for VIP passes that include access to a hospitality area with catered meals. Camping is sold separately and ranges from $75 to $159.
