Brand New takes 'The Devil and God' on the road

Alt-rock band Brand New [ tickets ] has announced a spring US tour that will follow its January/February outing in Europe.

US dates kick off March 15 in Buffalo, NY. The band will travel from the East Coast to the West Coast and back through April. The shows are listed below.

Dates for Brand New's Euro tour, which begins Jan. 24 in Paris, can be found at the band's website.

The native New Yorkers of Brand New released their third album, "The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me," in November. A few songs from the record, including the single "Sowing Season," are streaming at the band's MySpace page.

The new release follows 2003's "Deja Entendu," which spawned the singles "The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows," "Sic Transit Gloria...Glory Fades" and "I Will Play My Game Beneath the Spin Light."

Brand New has since signed to Interscope Records. The band took an extended break from the road while working on "The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me," but picked things up again last summer, touring nationwide for the first time in years.
