Toby Keith to do more 'Hangin' Out' in 2007
Country star Toby Keith has extended his "Hookin' Up & Hangin' Out Tour" into 2007 with a batch of new dates that will keep the singer busy until mid-February.
The tour, which got underway all the way back in August, is expected to eventually stretch to more than 60 dates as Keith continues to support his latest album, the platinum-selling "White Trash With Money." The trek marks the fourth time that Keith has hooked up with Ford Trucks to sponsor a major tour.
The next batch of dates for Keith will kick off Jan. 25 in Albany, NY, with eight cities currently on the itinerary. Details are included below.
Keith made his silver screen debut in September when the film "Broken Bridges," co-starring Kelly Preston, opened in theaters. The film's soundtrack hit stores in late August and features seven songs by Keith. The soundtrack cracked the Top 5 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart, and peaked at No. 35 on the overall Billboard 200 album chart.
The film is due out on DVD Jan. 9, and will also air several times during December in special screenings on the CMT cable network. Check Keith's website for screening times.
