Fall Out Boy previews album on club tour

With a new album, "Infinity On High," due in stores in February, pop-rock foursome Fall Out Boy will make a return to smaller venues next month to preview material from the set.

Unlike the band's arena-laden schedule from earlier this year, the "Friends and Enemies" tour--which also features New Found Glory , Early November and Permanent Me--will focus on clubs and small theaters.

The group has confirmed only two dates for the trek: the Jan. 4 opener in San Francisco, and the tour-ending Jan. 20 show in Orlando, FL. More dates are expected soon.

Before tackling the early '07 jaunt, Fall Out Boy will finish up a run of late-year shows, including an appearance Sunday (12/3) in Austin, TX. After dispensing with its January outing, the group will travel to Europe for a number of dates. The band's full overseas schedule is posted at its website, and the US itinerary is included below.

"Infinity On High," which follows 2005's "From Under the Cork Tree, is due in stores Feb. 6. The latter disc sold more than one million copies to date according to Island Records.

The first single from the new disc, "This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race," is currently streaming at the band's website.
