Lindsey Buckingham back 'Under the Skin' in January
Fleetwood Mac singer/guitarist Lindsey Buckingham will take to the road again in January, still backing his recent solo album, "Under the Skin."
Buckingham will kick off a five-date run Jan. 12 in Turlock, CA. The outing also includes a pair of dates at Las Vegas' Luxor Theater beginning Jan. 19.
"Under the Skin," which hit stores Oct. 3, is Buckingham's fourth solo album and first since 1992's "Out of the Cradle."
In a recent interview with USA Today, Buckingham described the arrangements on the new album as "kind of a reduction. There are basically no drums, very little bass. On a musical level, I've been trying to distill things."
Several cuts from the new album, as well as the video for the single "Show You How," are currently streaming at Buckingham's MySpace site.
Buckingham reunited with his old Fleetwood Mac bandmates for 2003's "Say You Will," the group's first studio effort since 1995's "Time," and its first with Buckingham aboard since 1987's "Tango in the Night."
