TLC [ tickets ] and Mary J. Blige [ tickets ] led the field in the annual Soul Train Music Awards, each picking up wins in two categories. Whitney Houston [ tickets ] and the artist formerly known as Prince took Artist of the Decade honors.

Feisty trio TLC took awards in the Best R&B/Soul Single by a Group, Band or Duo category for the hit "No Scrubs," and the band's multi-platinum "Fanmail" album won in the best R&B/Soul Album by a Group, Band or Duo category.

Mary J. Blige took the Soul Train Award for best R&B/Soul Album, Female for "Mary," and was also tapped as Female Entertainer of the Year. Rapper DMX [ tickets ] got the nod as Male Entertainer of the Year.

The awards were presented on Saturday (3/4) during a ceremony co-hosted by Eric Benet, TLC's Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes and Tamia, as well as Soul Train host Shemar Moore.
