Neil Young's Bridge School nabs Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews, more

This year's edition of the Neil Young -led Bridge School Benefit concerts will feature a lineup that includes longtime event supporters Pearl Jam and the Dave Matthews Band , as well as Foo Fighters and Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor.

Rounding out the bill will be Brian Wilson, Death Cab for Cutie and Devendra Banhart.

The concerts--which typically feature acoustic sets--are set for Oct. 21 and 22 at their usual home, the San Francisco Bay Area's Shoreline Amphitheater. Tickets go on sale Sunday (9/17); specific lineups for the individual days haven't been announced.

Pearl Jam will be making its seventh Bridge School appearance, and Matthews will be making his fifth. Foo Fighters will be appearing for the third time.

The Bridge School concerts benefit the Bridge School, which serves severely speech-impaired children in the San Francisco Bay Area. Young's wife, Pegi, and Jim Forderer--both parents of children with severe speech and physical impairments--co-founded the school in 1986 along with Dr. Marilyn Buzolich.
