Tom Petty, Fiona Apple, others confirmed for Vegoose
Also among the roughly two-dozen acts on the roster thus far are The Killers, Guster, The Mars Volta, Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley, The Roots, Gomez, Built to Spill, Band of Horses and Jurassic 5. A complete list of confirmed artists is included below, and more acts will be announced in the coming weeks, according to organizers.
Tickets for two-day event, which is scheduled to take place Oct. 28-29 at Sam Boyd Stadium, go on sale Aug. 19 via the Vegoose website.
To coincide with the festival proper, organizers are also coordinating Vegoose at Night, a series of yet-to-be-announced nighttime concerts set to take place Oct. 27-Oct. 31 at venues throughout Las Vegas.
Vegoose is produced by Superfly Productions and A.C. Entertainment, creators of the annual Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival.
"We are busy preparing for another great party," Rick Farman of Superfly said in a statement. "Last year proved that Vegas, Halloween, and an amazing collection of bands set in a beautiful environment is a magical combination."
