On Thursday (8/3), Papa roach will be in Los Angeles to shoot the "To Be Loved" music video. Set to take place at Park Plaza, the shoot is open to those 18 and older. Additional details--including an email address to which fans are asked to RSVP if they plan to attend--are posted at the group's MySpace site.
In addition to its album-release and video-making plans, Papa Roach has signed on to headline the Zippo Hot Tour, which gets underway in November. The outing, which is sponsored by Zippo Manufacturing Company, will also feature the winner of an in-progress battle of the bands that Zippo has been conducting throughout the year.
"We are stoked to be headlining this year's Zippo Hot Tour," Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix said in statement. "When Zippo approached us about this opportunity we couldn't say no. Supporting local music scenes has always been a priority for us, and the fact that the Zippo Hot Tour gives a young local band an opportunity to have a career in the music business is amazing."
More information about the Zippo Tour--including details about the bands vying for the opening slot--is available at the tour's official website. The itinerary for the run has not yet been announced.
"The Paramour Sessions" follows Papa Roach's 2004 set, "Getting Away With Murder."
