Weekend Ticketing: Rolling Stones, Tool, Mary J. Blige, Elton John, Black Eyed Peas

The Rolling Stones unveiled plans this week for a fall tour that will see the legendary rockers play stadiums throughout the US and Canada, and tickets are already rolling out in select markets.

Special ticket pre-sales will continue for some shows through the weekend; visit the Stones' website for details. The general public gets its first shot at tickets beginning Monday (7/31), when on-sales begin for shows in Foxboro, MA; East Rutherford, NJ; Regina, Saskatchewan; and Chicago.

Prog-rock revivalists Tool confirmed a new batch of tour dates earlier this month, and tickets continue to hit the market in a handful of cities.

Tickets go on sale Saturday (7/29) for the tour's Las Vegas; Phoenix; Columbus, OH; and Pittsburgh, PA, shows.

Hip-hop/R&B queen Mary J. Blige is touring the amphitheater circuit this summer. The outing touches down in Concord, CA, in September, and tickets hit the market Friday (7/28).

Pop mainstay Elton John recently announced plans to play several arena dates in September and October.

Tickets for one of those shows--Sept. 16 in San Jose, CA--are set to hit the market Monday (7/31), while tickets are already on sale for some of John's other planned gigs.
