Briefly: KISS, Nelly Furtado, Underoath, BET Awards

KISS principals Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley reportedly were on hand in Myrtle Beach, SC, for the Tuesday (6/27) grand opening of the first KISS Coffeehouse.

The Myrtle Beach Sun News reported that the rockers turned up at the event--sans makeup--to find hundreds of fans waiting for a glimpse of them.

KISS Coffeehouse was the brainchild of longtime KISS fan Brian Galvin, who hopes to open additional locations if the first proves a hit.

"With smoking KISS boots over 20 feet tall at the storefront and some awesome KISS memorabilia on display, loyal KISS fans will not be disappointed," promises the KISS Coffeehouse website.
