Phish concert DVD gets big-screen premiere

The forthcoming live DVD "Phish : Live in Brooklyn" will be beamed into 99 movie theaters on July 10, the night before it and its companion audio-CD go on sale.

A list of participating theaters--all in the Regal, AMC, Edwards, United Artists and Georgia Theatre Company chains--and ticket information is posted at www.bigscreenconcerts.com.

"Live in Brooklyn" was filmed June 17, 2004 at Keyspan Park on New York's Coney Island, the band's first performance after announcing that its 2004 tour would be its last. The running time of the show is about 3 1/2 hours.

The two-DVD set and separate three-CD audio soundtrack will be released by JEMP Records, a label that Phish created to issue "what the band members consider the greatest and most important shows of their career," according to a press release.
