Coheed and Cambria [ tickets ], who last month wrapped up a tour with fellow rockers Avenged Sevenfold, will further support their cumbersomely titled major-label debut, "Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness," with a handful of August concerts.

The group has mapped four August headlining stops that are scattered throughout the Midwest, and will also feature Dillinger Escape Plan, Chiodos and 3. In addition, the schedule includes an Aug. 5 set at the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago. Details are shown below.

Released last September, "Good Apollo" is Coheed and Cambria's first album for Columbia Records, and follows its gold-certified 2003 set, "In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3." The new disc is the fourth installment in a planned five-album saga based around a doomed married couple who are convinced that they must sacrifice their children to save the world from being infected by a virus that is embedded in their genes, according to a press release.
