John Fogerty adds dates to summer trek

John Fogerty [ tickets ]--who previously had announced a concert schedule for this summer with Willie Nelson [ tickets ] handling opening chores--has added a number of dates to his itinerary.

The only new date featuring Nelson is an Aug. 30 billing in Lemoore, CA. Fogerty will play a few extras shows on his own, however, starting with an Aug. 8 show in Hampton Beach, NH.

Other new dates on Fogerty's itinerary are scattered throughout August and September, with singer Lucinda Williams [ tickets ] providing support for two outdoor shows in early September, Sept. 2 in Los Angeles and the following night in Santa Barbara, CA.

Fogerty will also tackle a three-week European tour before beginning his US engagements. A full accounting of Fogerty's overseas trek, which is set to begin June 28 in Paris, can be found at hiss website.

Fogerty has set a June 13 release date for his new concert DVD, "The Long Road Home--In Concert." The video was captured during Fogerty's 2005 tour in support of his 2004 album, "Deja Vu All Over Again."
