Rapper Beanie Sigel [ tickets ] reportedly was shot during an attempted robbery in his hometown of Philadelphia Thursday morning (5/25), and suffered minor injuries.

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Sigel drove himself to the hospital, where he was treated for at least one gunshot wound in his upper right arm before he was released.

Sigel, 32, reportedly told police his vehicle was boxed in by two cars before a group of five men held him up, then shot him.

According to event publicists, it took just 30 minutes for fans to snap up 17,000 of the tickets for Tim McGraw [ tickets ] and Faith Hill [ tickets ]'s New Orleans hurricane relief concert, set for July 5 at New Orleans Arena.
