Smashing Pumpkins Announce More In-Store Visits
Smashing Pumpkins have announced a new batch of stops on their tour of U.S. record stores in support of the album "MACHINA/the machines of God," to be released on Feb. 29.
The band's ''Resume the Pose'' tour features autograph signings and, in some markets, in-store performances. All of the newly announced appearances will take place at 6 p.m. with the exception of the stop in Champaign, Ill., which is scheduled to get underway at 5 p.m.
Pumpkins' frontman Billy Corgan recently told Reuters that the new album is the last that the band owes to Virgin Records under its current contract.
