Brad Paisley cleans up at ACM Awards

Kenny Chesney took the top honor at last night's (5/23) Academy of Country Music Awards, but fellow country superstar Brad Paisley was the one who had racked up the most trophies by night's end.

Paisley, who entered the ceremony with nominations in six categories, scored three wins. His latest album, "Time Well Wasted," was named Album of the Year, and "When I Get Where I'm Going," a cut that features Paisley teamed with country legend Dolly Parton, scored wins for Vocal Event of the Year and Video Event of the Year.

Last year's "American Idol" winner, Carrie Underwood , made a splash during her first year at the ACM Awards by picking up wins for Best New Female Vocalist and Single Record of the Year ("Jesus, Take the Wheel").

Brooks & Dunn further solidified their reign as the most-awarded artists in the history of the ACM Awards by scoring wins for Top Vocal Duo and Song of the Year ("Believe," co-written by Dunn and Craig Wiseman). The win brings the pair's overall ACM Awards tally to 21 trophies.

Meanwhile, Chesney went for quality instead of quantity; nominated for a pair of awards, the singer was crowned this year's ACM Entertainer of the Year.

Other winners included Sara Evans, who was named Top Female Vocalist; Keith Urban, who took home the Top Male Vocalist Award; Rascal Flatts, who scored the Top Vocal Group award; and Jason Aldean, who picked up the Top New Male Vocalist award.

Veteran performer Vince Gill was presented with the Home Depot Humanitarian Award for his "ongoing community service and charitable giving of his time and talent," according to an ACM press release.

A complete list of winners is included below.

This year's ACM Awards, hosted by Reba McEntire, took place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and aired live on CBS-TV. The show featured performances from Paisley, Underwood, Urban, Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Keith, Montgomery Gentry, Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, Big & Rich, and Martina McBride.
