Briefly: Guns N' Roses, Fats Domino, The Go-Betweens, MTV Movie Awards

Axl Rose, during a lengthy appearance Saturday (5/6) on Eddie Trunk's syndicated radio show, said that the new Guns N' Roses album "Chinese Democracy"--which has been in the works for a decade--will hit stores this fall.

Rose's appearance came about after Sebastian Bach (ex-Skid Row), who was co-hosting the show, called Rose on his cell phone and invited the GN'R frontman to join him in the studio. Rose obliged, and ended up spending about three hours on the show.

Trunk has a blog entry about Rose's appearance at his website.
