Yellowcard [ tickets ], who last month announced that frontman Ryan Key will soon undergo surgery to remove a cyst from his vocal cords, is lining up more summer shows that will follow the procedure.

Since last check, the group has nailed down several late-June stops in the Northeast, followed by the tour's first batch of July shows, as well as one additional date in both August and September. Details are included below.

The band will soon finish its spring outing, which Key has been soldiering through despite his throat problems. There are three shows left on the group's docket, after which Key will go under the knife.

As previously reported, Key's expected recovery time prompted the group to reschedule the first handful of dates on its summer outing, which was due to launch on June 1, but will instead get underway June 10.

"We're disappointed to be postponing these dates, but it's a relief to know the source of the problems I'd been having with my voice," Key said in a press release. "And it's much better to confront it now than later when it could be far more serious. But we'll be back on the road in June when we can give 100%. Our fans deserve nothing less."

Yellowcard continues to back its January release, "Lights and Sounds," which debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 chart. The album features the cut "Rough Landing, Holly," the video for which MTV recently added to its rotation, according to Yellowcard's MySpace.com website.
