Guns N' Roses pirate to plead guilty

The man accused of illegally posting songs on the Internet from the upcoming Guns N' Roses album has agreed to plead guilty, according to a Reuters report.

Kevin Cogill, who was arrested in August at his Los Angeles home, reportedly will enter a guilty plea to one federal count of copyright infringement at a Dec. 8 hearing.

Cogill allegedly posted nine songs from the album "Chinese Democracy," which is scheduled for a Nov. 23 release, on a website called Antiquiet. The FBI did not disclose how Cogill, who has no known direct connection to the band, obtained the songs, according to Reuters.

At the time of his arrest, authorities said he faced more than three years in prison if convicted. No details regarding sentencing were available.
